Cooperative Gallery 213

Paintings by Jean Luongo and guest artist Anthony Santuoso. Santuoso’s work could be called “allegorical” while Luongo’s work is more about psychological portraiture. Both are accomplished artists with many exhibits and publications to their credit. Santuoso has also taught at several universities.

New paintings, drawings and graphic work from Kathryn and Daniel

Raku Pottery Martha is exploring mixed media with collage, and Nancy Ryan presents new drawings, paintings, and Raku pottery.

The exhibit includes acrylic and mixed media paintings by Alla and glass sculptures and mixed-media art by Barbara. A Closing Reception, open to the public, will be held at the gallery on July 27th. At that event, the artists will speak and conduct a workshop.

Cocoon “Brutal Dancing” June’s First Friday the Cooperative Gallery 213 will open “Brutal Dance: Boxing Series” an exhibit of drawing prints and paintings by Susan Kendrot, as well as “Idea, Sticks & Clay” sculptures by Betsy Jo Williams.

Rushing Water Eileen Schlag and Shirley Ernst share the May show in “This, That, and the Other.” Ernst will show watercolors, and Schlag encaustics and paintings.

This exhibit illustrates the interdependence of all life with the elements of earth, water, fire and air which has been of ongoing concern, fascination, and inspiration to Clark.
