Judy Salton venerates the Arts – Music, Dance and Theatre using the techniques of carving, mosaic tiles, paintings and drawings to create her altars.
“Altared /Altered States” as interpreted by MaryRose, combines her sense of the Altarpiece, Stations of the Cross and Renaissance Wunderkammer. Housed in wooden wall cabinets are “paper tapestries” transcribed from Baroque still lifes attributed to Caravaggio.
Opening First Friday, June 2nd 3-9 PM Artists’ Talk First Friday @ 7 PM. Closing Reception Brunch, Sunday June 25th from 11 am-2 pm.
