While I was always crafty and imaginative as a child, my art journey really started in 8th grade when I was chosen to go into advanced art classes being held at the high school. I continued with art classes throughout high school and eventually went to college for art. I graduated from Binghamton University with a BA in both Studio Art and Art History, completing my art degree with high honors in painting. I moved into sculpture with the help of my father for he is the one who taught me how to weld. Working with metal is one of the many joys in life. I can't get enough of just how flexible this medium is. You can do anything with steel and a flame. I also work with a wide variety of other mediums and am working on a new portfolio where I combine some of those into one artwork.
