Karen Fedczuk

My passion as an artist began as a child and was fostered by my art teachers in the NYC public school system. I put art on hold and decided to pursue a degree in science from Hunter College. I returned to art some years  later and received my BFA in printmaking from Binghamton University. I am a founding member of the Cooperative Gallery 213 and have exhibited in both local and regional juried shows.

"I've always been fascinated with shapes, color, line and texture and their arrangement in space," says Karen Fedczuk, a graduate of the Fine Arts Program at Binghamton University. "The movement of these forces in an image is what compels me to that image, whether the image is representational or abstract. My work begins with a subject that I am passionate about and evolves through constant change."
