About

Cooperative Gallery 213 was founded in 2000 in Binghamton, NY to provide exhibition space for our member artists.

We are a self-supporting institution, staffed and maintained by members who donate their time and creative energies.

Membership

There are two levels of membership at our gallery.

Supporting Memberships are always open. All you need to join is an interest in supporting the arts. If you are an artist, a Supporting Membership can be a way to meet and work with other artists, show your work at a prime gallery location, and enjoy support from both the gallery and the larger arts community. Learn more about becoming a supporting member and follow the links to our store to purchase online.

If you’d prefer to print and mail the application, you can download the application below. Our Mailing address is 213 State St., Binghamton, NY 13901. You can also print out your application and bring it into the gallery during our open hours, where a member would be happy to run your credit card for you.

Exhibiting Memberships are limited in number and share in the responsibility of running the gallery. In turn, a member can expect a solo or shared show once every membership year (16-19 months) and the opportunity to exhibit at least one work each month in the shared members’ gallery space. Exhibiting Members are working artists who go through an interview, jury, and voting process to join. There are openings only when someone leaves the gallery organization. You can submit an Exhibiting Membership at any time; just know it may take some time before a spot opens up. Please Download the Application and follow the directions on how to submit your work.
