Chris Bahr is a multi-media artist living and working in Binghamton, N.Y. Chris is also the Gallery Manager at The Art Mission & Theater formerly of 128 Washington Street, now at 61 Prospect Avenue (near the Cooperative Gallery) opening on February 2, 2007 for First Friday.

Chris's work is based on her interest in merging traditional Western religious symbols with folk art. Afro-Caribbean, Haitian & Spanish traditional arts are a definite inspiration that Chris incorporates with her own cross-cultural portable altars & handmade journals.
